Wednesday night after work Alex and I drove the 14 hours to Island Park, Idaho (Population 1200) for the Cornwell Family Reunion. It was absolutlely beautiful! We had the best time. It was a wonderful break from the busy schedules we've all be keeping. We arrived the evening of the 28th which was Alex's grandpa's 85th birthday! :) There were approximately 35 (I think) people there. The cabin was beautiful! They only finished building it in June and there are four in this secluded area. Friday, the 29th drove an hour or so through Montana and into Yellowstone National Park which is in Wyoming. We spent most of the day there and it was a great day trip! Besides the forest we saw a waterfall and many of the geisers, including Old Faithful. Saturday most of us went horseback riding! My horse was "Punkin" and had to be the slooooooowest horse there. All he wanted to do was eat which made for a frustrating ride at times. :) That was probably one of my more favorite things we did. The weather was gorgeous- we couldn't have asked for better. It was so great to finally meet the people in Alex's family I hadn't met at our wedding or since. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait for the next reunion!

Go here, here, & here for more photographs. I seemed to have misplaced one of the disks which contains the rest of the family portraits and our horseback riding adventures so I hope to locate that shortly!
