For me they symbolize life and hope & bring color and happiness to the world.

children inspire me, too, Joleen. I love their curiosity and wonderment of the world and how they simply listen to their heart in everything they do.
as for what else inspires me? the everyday and the ordinary, quotations, dreams, art supplies, color, other artists, good design, successful women, and the spiritual journey of the soul, just to name a few.
Children are amazing so much new and fresh to them.
My inspiration: Nature.
Cute photos, My inspiration is my family, God, Friends and Nature.
What inspires me: stars, sunsets, color, real emotion.
mountains...specifically the outline of them
I am inspired by texture. I love the bake and I really enjoy working with different recipes to see how the texture will be when it emerges from the oven.
Sponge cake vs. rock bun, for example. I like to paint with different textures too. (And sew, and knit now that I think about it.)
Yes, children are a big inspiration! Besides my own vivacious daughter, my inspiration is color, in particular the color combinations in children's European fashions. I am now officially addicted to Vogue Bambino - Hey, I just realized that's children and color rolled into one! :)
